CA Transparency in Supply Chains
California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Disclosure
At KK Garden, we are committed to conducting our business in a lawful and ethical manner. We recognize the importance of transparency in our supply chain and are dedicated to preventing human trafficking and slavery in any part of our operations.
As required by the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657), we provide the following disclosure regarding our policies and practices to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from our direct supply chain for tangible goods offered for sale:
Verification
KK Garden evaluates and verifies our supply chain to identify and assess potential risks of human trafficking and slavery. We work with trusted suppliers and, where appropriate, use third-party verification to assess compliance.
Audits
We conduct periodic evaluations of our suppliers, which may include announced and unannounced audits, to ensure adherence to our human rights standards and compliance with applicable laws.
Certification
Our suppliers are required to certify that the materials used in their products comply with laws regarding slavery and human trafficking in the country or countries in which they are doing business.
Internal Accountability
We maintain internal standards and procedures for employees and contractors regarding human rights and ethical supply chain management. Disciplinary action will be taken against individuals who violate these standards.
Training
KK Garden provides training to employees and managers who have direct responsibility for supply chain management to ensure they are knowledgeable about human trafficking and slavery risks and know how to mitigate them effectively.
By maintaining these measures, KK Garden aims to ensure that our products are sourced responsibly and ethically, in full compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.
